Webcomic Worth Reading
Everyday Decay is truly a gem among so much predictable-zombiethemed-sand. This gritty, true-to-life comic, gives you the feel of what it would actually be like if a zombie outbreak happened and you (and your sense of humor) survived those first few panic-stricken weeks. That's right, you don't have to yell at the screen because the characters somehow manage to be outsmarted and eaten by mindless zombies who top out at 1mph; Everyday Decay spares you the cliche idiocy of tripping while running from a horde of undead and instead gives you witty, intelligent characters who have survived for years surrounded by zombies.
| As you follow the two main characters (Emi and Dorian) you'll become addicted to the quirky humor, bonechilling gore, and profound moral questions raised by this extremely well written webcomic. But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself... |
Hear Them Play
Most of the Electronic/Rock/Pop groups I see hitting the scene these days, are more talented at picking out just the right pastel colored hoodie than they are at making music. If you want a band that spends their time making great music instead of coming up with hip twitter updates listen to the Black Kids. They resuce a genre of music that was becoming about all the wrong things.

My Kinda Artist
Maybe its just cause I have a thing for SUPER-MEGA-AWESOME ROBOTS! But this Michael A. Salter guy really appeals to me. He has a bunch more if you wanna peruse his art by clicking the link and looking through his installations. He also draws, sculpts, paints, etc. His art really pulls you in and makes you feel like you're in whatever world he was imagining when he created it. |
